Patterning is a process of making a form in order to cut a fabric material fitted to the shape of a cap. There are two methods of patterning. One is manual work and the other is computer work utilizing a CAD system that contains pattern making, grading and marker programs.
With a CAD system, a cutting machine prints paper patterns that will be cut on fabric materials for sample making.

STEP 2 Embroidering
It is the process of expressing an embroidery program of the design of a cap
The first step of embroidering is the process of analyzing designs and laying them out with a digitizer. It is the core process that decides the overall size of a design, the width and the direction of the embroidery, color analysis, and embroidering effect. 27,000 to 30,000 designs are annually developed. This process should always be surgical.
It is the process of making an embroidery program with a digitizer system based on the embroidery design. The embroidering techniques include a running stitch, a full stitch and a satin stitch. To maximize embroidering effects, special regard is paid to the feature of each design.
It is the process of automatic embroidering (20-24 pcs) according to the design, the colors and the position with a ready-made embroidery program. A final embroidery design is produced with the multiple functions of the digitizer system that operates at diverse speeds determined by the sort of fabric material and the design position.
STEP 3 Assembling
It is the completion process of assembling cut materials.
It is the completion process of assembling cut materials. Cut materials are assembled, taken to the embroidering process and the embroidery design that customers want is attached on the cut materials. A cap is finished after piercing together the assembly parts. Assembly parts include a crown, a visor, a sweat band, an adjuster and a label.
STEP 4 Examining & Packing
Examining and packing is the final step of a cap manufacturing process.
This process removes all excess threads leftover from manufacturing and precisely forms the shape of the cap. Steam and heat is applied to the molds to strengthen the shape and eliminate wrinkles. This stage comprises of operating the molding frames and an automatic control system as well a high pressure/hazard prevention system.
This process applies tags to the cap that contain all details and specifications of the cap. Tags also serve to assure the quality of the product. More specifically, this process applies tags imprinted with the following details:
* Logos that represent the company brand
* Bar Codes for resale
* A Hologram which certifies the product’s authenticity
* Product information and details
This process inspects the caps for potentially harmful materials after all of the production activities have been completed. Caps, especially those designed for children are carefully inspected for potentially harmful materials such as stray steel/lead parts and sewing needles so that defective products are never delivered to our customers. Dada works hard to create products that are 100% safe and reliable to our customers by inspecting all products with the greatest care.
This constitutes the last process of cap manufacturing. Once again, we carefully inspect each and every cap for material quality, color, embroidery, shape, accessories quality and needlework to ensure that only the best end products reach our customers. After the quality check, these caps are then packaged neatly in special boxes with “packing pads,” which are inserted in shipping boxes to prevent possible crushing and bending of the caps during transportation. Following these careful procedures, Dada produces approximately 190,000 caps a day, 68 million caps a year for our customer all around the world.
